Youth Ambassador Leadership Academy
Support and Partnerships
Help young people become the leaders our communities need
Young people need opportunities to develop their potential. You can help provide those opportunities through funding, mentoring, professional experience, practical activities and community connections.
Support can take many forms. Whether you are a founder, funder, sponsor, business or community organisation, your contribution can help young people learn through experience and put leadership into action.
We aim to support up-to 25 Academy participants each year. Funding, grants, mentoring, hosted activities and resources help make that annual intake possible.
Ways to get involved
- Fund delivery: Contribute funding or grants to cover programme expenses and keep participation free.
- Sponsor an activity: Support a workshop, community project, awards activity or the annual graduation and launch.
- Mentor a young person: Share experience through an agreed mentoring arrangement.
- Host a theme or workshop: Help participants explore a leadership topic or practical challenge.
- Connect learning with work: Offer a suitable business visit, workplace challenge or career conversation.
- Support Business Resilience sessions: Give participants opportunities to meet business leaders, build connections and learn from experience.
- Contribute to reflection: Join an online review through an approved, facilitated arrangement.
- Provide resources: Offer venues, equipment, materials or specialist expertise.
- Build a lasting partnership: Help support future cohorts and continued opportunities after graduation.
Hosting a session
Business hosts may support weekday, school-holiday activities or Saturday sessions where suitable staff and activities are available.
Being open does not automatically mean a business has the capacity to host. We will agree the learning purpose, timing, responsibilities and safeguarding arrangements before a session.
A partnership with a clear purpose
We will discuss what your support enables, how it will be recognised and how progress will be shared.
Partner involvement will follow agreed arrangements. Support does not provide unrestricted access to participants or their personal information. Identifiable photography and publicity require appropriate separate permission.
